About us
Brian and Carien were born and raised in Southern Africa, with the love of the bush, nature and environment. With farming deep in their veins they moved to Southern Oregon in April of 2004 with their 4 children after being evicted from their farm in Zimbabwe, as a result of Land Redistribution by the Zimbabwean government.
Brian and Carien grew roses for the European market in Zimbabwe under 5 acres of greenhouses and 140,000 rosebushes. A challenging crop requiring meticulous detail, soft hands, and a good eye. Here at Eliana Wines, each vine is cared for and coaxed individually to be the best that it can be.
“Wine is something to be enjoyed. Wine should be fragrant, complex, balanced and well bodied. Wine is deeper than other drinks, wine has passion! It is something that requires food and friends.”
The beauty of the vineyard, the purposefully grown cluster, the art and science of wine, the romance and friendships; these are the qualities that are captured in each bottle of Eliana.
